it was raining and you’d follow me over the trail,
or maybe they just seemed better then
we’d fake Scottish accents
we’d make anywhere a bed & breakfast
it was right after you first got here &
we’d go shop for local honeydew
you made a pin-hole camera–
i didnt know you could do that
& nobody was saying- yeah, lets go break our hearts

and every time i have a vodka sour,
i cheers with you in my mind, i do-
i even bought a map of Scotland,
i guess it makes me sigh
